Need to have partial screen recording#347

I don’t know why, but the Windows app now says recording part of the screen will be removed. WHY!??!

I don’t need my entire large monitor resolution of everything on my screen being recorded whenever I need to show some snippet of something happening. This makes the tool completely useless for me with this one change. I never need to record the entire screen, nobody needs to see that. Plus I might have notes or other tools or something off to the side, desktop icons, taskbar apps running, etc. Or I’m just trying to get a smaller file size and don’t need that much space and resolution shown.

There are lots of reasons to want to record a partial area of the screen, this is such an important feature!

Now I have to go back to other tools, super bummer!

Recording a selection of a screen will be added. Not removed :)

Oh, very good to know. The interface suggested the exact opposite!
